Open Quantum Frontier Institute

The opportunities in front of the Open Quantum Frontier Institute require an interdisciplinary approach that leverages the strengths of our large and diverse team, spanning seven institutions in addition to a growing list of industry partners. Led by Lincoln Carr, Professor of Physics at Mines, partner institutions have strong roles, each site having a lead who is responsible for coordinating activities within their institution.

Six research thrusts are being evaluated, each representing both a frontier area of quantum science and an area of strength for a subset of the partner institutions. Thrust Leaders will provide overall technical vision and coordinate technical activities.
